Medinexus was established in 2004 to develop a solution for the healthcare sector to improve communications between health care providers, to improve the productivity of hospitals, specialist practices and General practitioners whilst at the same time playing a role in a better outcome for the patients being treated.

The company was founded by a dental specialist Dr Martin Fine well-known both in Australia and overseas for the technologies he has introduced to his orthodontic practice to keep it at the cutting edge.

One of these technologies- the ability to communicate his diagnostic findings to fellow practitioners and patients securely via the Internet - so impressed others in related health care fields that it led him to develop the technology further for the use of the Health Care Sector at large.

Interest from other practitioners and patients in the medical arena provided impetus for him to start research and development of what was to become Medinexus.

Medinexus today is able to offer the healthcare industry a robust and highly scaleable secure web-based communication system, to enhance the process for managing electronic communication and sharing of diagnostic images, reports, and discharge summaries.

Because of our unique database structure, the patient information we hold, and our ability to link reports from multiple sources to a patient, Medinexus is well positioned to become a leading contender to provide comprehensive Electronic Health Records (EHR).
